log books

Unless you are hiding a micro, a logbook is much better than a sheet of paper. People actually write things inside about their experience, rather than a name and date.

 

Many of us enjoy flipping through a logbook at the cache site and reading about past visits. It's funny when you are sitting at the cache site, dripping in sweat and fighting off mosquitoes and you read an entry detailing the brutal cold and snow that a previous finder had to deal with at the same spot.

 

Far more interesting than a name and date and as an owner you don't have to replace it as frequently.

 

All you need is a small, spiral bound steno pad. And for some micro containers, you can cut it down to fit (see below).
