yawarakai
I was at Radio Shack and saw they had GPS units on sale. Told the manager that I wasnted one I could use in the car and for geocaching. He told me he had just the thing and sold me a Magellan Maestro 3100. When it finally arrived (shipped) I tried it out. Great for the car, not worth crap for caching. Can not get a topo map or enter co-ordinates except as a street address. E-mailed Magellan and 4 days later got a reply saying no it does not have an upgrade but call this number. Called the number and the woman on the other end basically said the unit is too new to upgrade, wait a month or two for an upgrade. So don't buy it for caching. Quote Link to comment
