+moscow32 Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Just curious if anyone knows of a way to extract the cacher name from the "You are logged in as:" section of the page, and reuse it elsewhere in the cache description. For example, if I want to write a description in the form of a letter that is personalized to each cacher as they are logged in. Anyone know of a way to do that? Any other cool HTML tricks going down out there that I haven't seen? moscow32
+Miragee Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Since the site uses HTML-tidy to clean up code that isn't allowed, I imagine, if you could figure out how to do that, it would get stripped out. Also, since so many people cache "paperless," using the data they get from Pocket Queries, to view the information on their PDA, cache pages are not even viewed that much. When they are, I think most people, like myself, appreciate a nice, clean, non-cluttered cache page.
+Knight2000 Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 I tried to make a puzzle cache once. I embedded an online jigsaw puzzle in the html and gc.com stripped it out. I had a puzzle cache with no puzzle.
