+mpithunder
Does anyone know a cacher by the name of jtallent1usa My coin was last seen in their hands and according to the site they have not logged in since February. It was on a good mission and just started when it was taken but never placed. Last logged in December. I have emailed jtallent1usa numerous times but never rec'd a response. Just wondering if anyone in TN area knows this person, if so please find out status of coin. It was on a cool mission, I hate losing coins. It is a longshot but maybe someone knows something. Last known cache was East Tennessee Treasures in Kingston TN. here is a link to the coin site http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=607455 Please help. It would be nice to get this coin back into circulation. Dan Quote Link to comment
+Super_Nate
The sad truth is, trackables get lost all the time! It may be more often then you may think, but once you are the victum to a lost trackable then it really sucks. I had a travel bug taken from a cache in Missouri 2 years ago and I have not heard from it since. Chances are this person that you are refering to may not even have your coin anymore. It could have gotten passed to someone else who never logged it....it could have been placed in another cache and never logged...a multitude of things could have happened to it. You said that you have sent emails (I hope they were polite) and that is pretty much the best thing that you can do. Don't get impatient about it though. February is not a long time to be out of the game if you think about it. That is only 3 months! I know of people who cache on and off. It may be a couple more months, but they could get back into the game. I'm sorry to hear about the loss, I hope that good comes out of it. Quote Link to comment
