I am leaving for Myrtle Beach May 26th. Anyone have any TBs wanting to go that direction, give me a shout, I will be more than happy to take them that direction for you.

I first heard about geocaching through an advertisment in Backpacking Magazine. It was a jeep ad and in small print talked about the Jeep travel bug contest which gave me a web address to geocaching.com. havent stopped since. About two years ago.

Does anyone know a cacher by the name of jtallent1usa My coin was last seen in their hands and according to the site they have not logged in since February. It was on a good mission and just started when it was taken but never placed. Last logged in December. I have emailed jtallent1usa numerous times but never rec'd a response. Just wondering if anyone in TN area knows this person, if so please find out status of coin. It was on a cool mission, I hate losing coins. It is a longshot but maybe someone knows something. I have had a geocoin last seen in "exit 78 Travel Bug Exchange" I know it is a long shot but not sure of anyone who has possibly run across this coin. I hate losing coins while on a good mission. Anybody that comes across this coin or may have seen it or its known location please post a note for it or contact me. I found the problem. There was a new update for easy GPS that came out July 25th. I updated mine and it works fine now!!! Thanks

OK. I bought the garmin 60c. How the heck can I load caches and waypoints. I used easy GPS on my rino 110. the 60c is not allowing me to. Is there other software I need. Why is it so difficult? ANybody help? PLease.... I am itching to go caching again, I haven't been in two weeks and its killin me. Also I did not know I was going to have to buy the topo maps. All the ads I seen with the GPSMAP series had them displayed, I automatically thought they came that way. I was suckered in, anyway someone please help me work this thing or at least give me a site I can read about downloading waypoints. I have the mapsource program it came with, is there a way to transfer cache waypoints to there and then download it in the gps, very confused please help. Dan

I had heard sometime ago there was a site or forum where people moving out of the area can post there caches up for adoption and people can look for caches they would like to adopt. Is this true? Is ther such site. I know the last rumor I heard there was the TB graveyard, and I actually found it to be true. Does anyone know the procedures for adopting caches?

Does anyone have on eof those Garmin 60s?, the newer GPS system thye have out now. If so, is it worth the price?

You need to check out EBAY, there are some 60s selling for 250-300. There are also plenty of others being sold as well! Good place to start.

Well I use of course the GPS and I have a laptop with me to help in case I need clues. I download the coordinates and use the GPX watcher software which is great. I notice though however many people use PDAs. If you have a PDA, please let m eknow what setup you have and how helpful is a PDA, I have no idea how a PDA will work. Just curious to know how helpful a PDA is. I would rather carry something smaller like a PDA around. What is your equipment and what are your recommendations????

Anyone have any idea on how I can activate my TB w/o the activation code. I activated my other two I had bought but when I tried to activate my third, I couldn't find my baggie it came in with the sticker. I must have gotten my bags mixed up and threw the unactivated baggie out. Any suggestions or is this TB now just a wasted investment? Thanks
