Recommendations for 100th Ohio find

Team DeGarmo is getting close to our 100th find & would like to make it 'special' for my family. So asking for one of your favorite/special/cool Ohio caches for us to find as our 100th! It does not have to be a 5/5 rating to be special for us, we have two geokids. We love this crazy game & look forward to your replies!!

Any interest in fossils among your crew? Mind driving to Cincinnati (Sharonville, actually)?

 

Trammel Fossil Park would be a nice outing for a family that like fossils.

 

The park is nicely kept. There are informative signs and kiosks to tell you all about the fossils that can be found there.

 

It will add another earthcache to your list. (You do know that with three earthcaches found in two states, you can get a pin from the GSA, right?).

 

Best of all... you can dig for fossils and keep them, too!

 

We visted there and just love it.

The Fossil Park is on our list to find & we were talking about that being the 100th! Cool ,thanks! And we figured it would be hard for it to be a DNF!!

The Quarry Cache just outside of Marion is always popular among those who have done it, it's a great cache. Click HERE for the link. It's not too far from Nerk.

 

If you are not comfortable around narrow elevated walkways with steep fall-offs on both sides, and jumping over small chasms where if you miss you fall to your death, then maybe consider another cache.

 

It's really not that dangerous, but if your geokids are small you may not want to try this one.
