+randyinaloha
Hello, I downloaded Google Earth and it Great. See the landscape from a birds view. Sometimes it even gets the caches in view. When it does tho, there are yellow pins in a 1/4 mile area all saying the same thing. What am I doing wrong? Randy Quote Link to comment
+ryme-intrinseca
Hello, are you using the Geocaching KML overlay with google Earth? If so, have you accidentally opened it more than once at the same time? I have done this before, and it shows the same cache lots of times, but in very slightly different locations. The overlay can take a while to load, and I thought it hadn't worked so I opened it again, which is how it happened to me! Edited May 1, 2007 by ryme-intrinseca Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
What version of GE are you using? Are you using the Geocaching KML or are you opening a .GPX file? I use the latest version of GE and just open my .GPX and it all looks great!!! (besure to open the time slider in the iupper righ to show caches across the whole time period in the .GPX) Quote Link to comment
+Jedi Cacher
What exactly is Google Earth? It sounds like I am missing out on something really cool that could possibly help with my caching adventures. Quote Link to comment

You don't need to buy anything from Google. The KML from this site will work fine. Sometimes you just have to wait for it to refresh. That's why you get the pushpins. Quote Link to comment
