Syntax error on Report/Edit a Cache Listing web page

I started filling in the form for a new cache placement today. I know the coordinates, type of cache and a few other pieces of info, but had not yet come up with a clever name yet. Next to the Nickname box it reads, "This is the name displayed for the cache. If you leave it blank it will default to the cache type." Since I didn't have a catchy name worked out yet, that sounded good, so I unchecked the box that the cache was active and clicked the "Report New Listing" button.

 

Guess what? I got an error message stating, "You need to have a name for your listing." and "* Can't be empty" was next to the Nickname box.

 

So which is it? If the latter is indeed true, that there needs to be something in the nickname box, then the text needs to be changed.

Interesting. It used to default to Geocache. There were quite a few geocaches named geocache when I started. I guess you just put geocache in there, or Unapproved Cache.
