It would be nice to be able to charge a spare battery outside the unit not to mention it's a pain to get the battery out of it. Am I the only person who has a problem popping the battery out? +bill50here Posted April 11, 2007 Share Posted April 11, 2007 The 500 battery is meant to fit tight in there.Dont worry that is ok.There are no known chargers for the pack itself but the cable (data with ac adapter plugged in chargers the unit.There are some sites selling after market chargers witht he proper connector to screwin the back of the unit though.Just google the 500 charge cable and they are there........ That is the big advantage of the system, you do not need a separate charger. The internal charger is automatic; just start the charge and forget about it -- it will stop when charged just like your cell phone and PDA. For extra back-up batteries, that you will seldom use, it might be helpful to have an external charger like this: Universal Lithium Charger Quote Link to comment
