+Edsfind Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 just loaded a waypoint in Gsak, tryed to send it to gps, how do you find the right COM port to use? i tryed com1,com2 com4,,, i have sent waypoints from mapsource with no trouble, just GSAK will not find my gps, hope this wasn't ask before,i looked, thanks for your help Quote Link to comment

+The Jester Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 Can you look at the settings Mapsource uses for sending? That way you'd know what to set up in GSAK. If you are using the USB connection (I believe the 60 series can do both), have you loaded the drivers from Garmin? Quote Link to comment

+Thrak Posted April 9, 2007 Share Posted April 9, 2007 I can't imagine why you'd be using a serial connection when you have a USB connection to use. USB doesn't use ANY com port. Change the GSAK setting to use USB instead of serial. Quote Link to comment
