I have a slightly used Magellan SporTrak Map gpsr for sale. Works fine. Cosmetically good. I have just the unit and the serial cable. $50.00 or make offer + shipping
There is a little metal slider that covers the card and helps keep it in place. Slide it towards the serial # tag and it should hold your card in place. Small lettering on the side of the unit shows you which way is open and which way is closed. Hope this helps
I had a similar experience with the reposition able disc, but the permanent disc is working great. I'm spending the summer in Phoenix (don't ask!) and it hasn't moved at all even in 110+ degrees. Can't wait to get back to the Pacific Northwest.
I use GpxSonar on my iPAQ 2215 to log notes in the field when I find a cache. I then try to export the notes into GSAK. GpxSonar creates a txt file which I import into GSAK but I can't find the notes again! Where are they going and how to I get them into the note field of the cache page? I must be missing a setting someplace.
