GPSBabel will work under Linux. Just download the source and compile it or do a search on Google and you can find precompiled binary packages in .rpm, .deb, .pkg, .tgz and probably other formats for whatever flavor of Linux you are running. For example try this link http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/sourceforge/g...3.3-0.i386.html Quote Link to comment

I think cachemate also comes with cmconvert, which compiles/runs under Linux. I use both cmconvert and gpsbabel on my Debian Linux box all the time. Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
Running the Windows version of GPSBabel under something like Wine is kind of pointless. As others said, just download the correct version for the OS you're using. GPSBabel works very well on Linux - that's where most of the development is done, in fact. http://www.gpsbabel.org Quote Link to comment
