+archi77
I know with caches, premium members can dowload the .GPX files, which would allow them to have the "listing" on a PDA for field reference. Is there such a feature with the benchmarks, or just the .LOC files for the GPSr? I've enjoyed searching for both, but having the ability to download a large listing of info would be extremely helpful... Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+TheBeanTeam
The information you are looking for is in the pinned topic titled......"Me First". It is in the section called "County Downloads". When I first started lingering in this forum I read through that thread and completely missed or forgot that it was there until someone pointed it out again in another thread. The "Me First" thread is full of all sorts of wisdom only some of which I grasp as of yet. The folks here are very helpful and friendly and the topics range from novice to authoritative dissertations. Lots of fun if you are into the benchmarking. Thanks for dropping in. mloser
If you have internet access on whatever handheld device you are using you can look up the descriptions in real time by going to Benchmark datasheets. Enter the PID and the description will be displayed. I used this quite often when I had a BlackBerry for my last job. Now that I don't have any mobile internet access I have been relegated back to paper. Quote Link to comment
