+Globetrotter.uk
Ok folks I just had to start this topic, there I was out with me lad and the misses(she aint into the hunting) Trying to show him how to do a multi. Nice sunny day and all packed and no hiccups to stop us. We get half way round the trip when at a micro she points out, that one of our bags is missing. Don't you mean the one you were carrying with a food in it. So we backtracked and discovered that some had taken it to the office at the car park a few miles away. Time we got there it was too late to continue the caching. So what has caused you to abandon a cache. Quote Link to comment
+douglasf
We went to a cache in Athens and stopped when we realised the 4 fellas hiding in the bushes had some ideas for the 4 fellas doing the cache (us). There are times when the count just doesn't matter... Greek Cache Quote Link to comment
+The Mighty Shark
Never had cause to abandon a cache but I once had to revisit one after walking half a mile back to the car only to realise that I had left my keys on the ground at the cache site Quote Link to comment
+Just Roger
SNOW. Barrage d' Emosson(GCPTY0) in June. (Log) The cache page said a 3km walk but we had done 2.5 miles throughh several snow fields before reaching one that was just too steep to risk without crampons and ice axes. We also thought that, even if we did get there, we would find the cache under 20 ft of snow. Quote Link to comment
