munro290 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I might be stupid asking this but what does it mean when people sign the log for a cache and put TFTH at the end? Quote
Nittanys1 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 check this page out: http://www.geocaching.com/about/glossary.aspx#spoiler Quote
eli and sasha Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I'd kinda like to know if anyone knows what the hint for cache GC1EDF9 means... The clue says: "Gbb rnfl!". I'm gonna locate this on my lunch break today if I can as it's really close and I'm still new to this and, consequently, still excited and dorkin out over it! Quote
mwellman Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Welcome to Geocaching existentialanimal! The hint section uses the ROT13 code which is provided on the cache page just to the right of the hint. For example: A = N, B = O, C = P etc. Sometimes the logs can give you some hints, too. Keep your eyes open and look for something slightly different. Have a look at the Groundspeak store and the Cool Cache Containers forum topic for some ideas of possible cache containers. Enjoy your Geocaching Adventures! Quote
Brooklyn51 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 On the cache page just above the hints is a decrypt button. Click on it and it will decode the hint for you. Or you can try to find it first without looking at the hint. It's up to you. Welcome to the madness! Quote
Bear and Ragged Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 "Too easy!" Not much help, but I suspect that it's in an 'obvious' place. Only 'obvious' if you've found rather a lot of that type of cache... Good Luck with it! Quote
