oldtrucks
I'm looking for a software program that is capable of converting files. A friend was telling me about something he has but I can't find anything and he's out of town for the Thanksgiving. Is anyone familiar with a product called AnyGps or close to that? If so, do you have a link to it? I've searched the forum as well as google without any luck. Quote Link to comment

oldtrucks
Are you talking about GPSBabel I thought he called it AnyGps, the one you listed doesn't sound correct, maybe the EasyGPS that Klatch posted. It's supposed to offer a free trial version with limited ability, and a full paid version. Quote Link to comment
oldtrucks
I'm looking for something that can convert the Magellan Explorist XL format files into the older Mapsend Topo, as well as Garmin into Magellan. I'm using the Explorist XL and he has the Garmin 76CS and I want to be able to share and convert tracks Quote Link to comment

EasyGPS saves your data in the universal GPX file format. You use EasyGPS to retrieve data from your eXplorist, save to a GPX file, and email it to your friend. Your friend uses EasyGPS to open the file and send the data to his Garmin 76CS. Quote Link to comment
oldtrucks
After seeing the Easy GPS I think that's it, that orange and yellow web page stands out. Thanks for the help Quote Link to comment
Ring
i take it, there is nothing to covert maps from 1 format to another? Quote Link to comment
topografix
Vector basemaps for your GPS receiver are specific and proprietary to the manufacturer, and cannot be used outside their software. Quote Link to comment
