+fizzymagic Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 For me, personally, if I do not sign the log I do not claim a find. I went on a semi-numbers run with some other guys last weekend. (Semi because we were only doing nontrivial caches.) We had stickers with our names on them to put on the logs of each of the caches, but I insisted on additionally at least initialing each of the logs myself with a pen. In the past I have used charred sticks, grass, and even blood to sign logs. I have repeated reasonably long hikes to re-sign a logbook that I didn't sign "properly" the first time. Maybe I am a "puritan," but I feel better knowing that I have personally signed the log for every single physical cache I have claimed as a find. Quote

Sure you are a highly motivated man! As for signing with my own blood, I am still waiting for some offer from this guy with hooved foot and wearing horns. If he happens to read this forum please PM me ! Edited November 21, 2006 by Suscrofa Quote
