Ncrypt Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 How do I get the Garmin TOPO US maps on my PC. On the install, the wizard had an option to do a typical install only which required the use of the CD. I would prefer not to have to insert the CD everytime I want to use the map. I've downloaded the files (east in my case) to my drive, but Can't seem to make any sense out of where the files need to be installed under the Gramin directory? thanks for any help Quote Link to comment
+Alan2 Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 (edited) The install program is with the West map disk. The East only has the maps for the East. . Copy both disks to a new folder on C drive. Than open the West side and click on install or setup icon (Frget which one-probably setup).
