yakimacacher
I have Gsak loaded and running, I want to delete the files I have on there to put another one on, but cant seem to find out how, I can delete one waypoint at a time but with 500 plus would take forever. Quote Link to comment
QuesterMark
You could create a new database and then delete the old database. That would do what I think you're trying to accomplish. Quote Link to comment
hikergps
There is an option to delete all files within a database. Unfortunately I'm not in front of my home PC at the moment so I can't tell you the exact steps. Can anyone out there help yak out? Quote Link to comment
kohldad
If you want to wipe the entire database, go to "database" drop down window, then click on "delete all waypoints". Confirm deletion. If you only want to delete a large selection of waypoints in a database, then set you filter so only the waypoints to be deleted are listed, then click on delete waypoint and select the "all waypoints in filter" option of the pop-up window. Note that this feature only works if you have a filter set, even if the entire database is choosen by the filter. I'm not sitting in front of GSAK either, so the exact terms may be slightly off, but should be close enough to get the job done. Quote Link to comment
hikergps
Found a link you may want to bookmark. http://gsak.net/help/ghelp.htm. Just about any question you will have can be answered there. Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. This is what I use when I get stumped on how to do something. Quote Link to comment
