BWBlackett
Is it possible to change the date format on all the GC pages so that they mean something to us English? I would have though it could be linked to your userid or something? Quote Link to comment

Yes, click "My Controls" at the top right hand corner, then select "Board Settings" from near the bottom of the menu list on the left, then choose the appropriate base timezone. +FollowMeChaps
I think the original question referred to the GC pages. I also find it frustrating that cache pages are in US date format. Can they be changed? Quote Link to comment
barryhunter
I'm sure I've seen this aired in the Website Forum, in which TPTB didnt show much interest in adding an option (but that doesnt mean they wont). If you use Firefox then can install GreeseMonkey (or in fact IE and Turnabout?) which allows small scripts to run on the page and alter it to the users content. This of course needs someone to write you the small script, a bribe may help in this regard. (While I know basically hows its done, I havent tried writing such scripts, so will only have a go if nobody else steps in...) Quote Link to comment

I'm a recent convert to these Greasemonkey scripts as I use Firefox at home and I now get useful OS rather than those GC maps, all the logs not just 5, etc.. If someone does write the necessary script (I'm a PC language luddite myself! ) I'd love to hear. FMC Quote Link to comment

You can then select the option for your preffered timezone part way down the page. Quote Link to comment

+Kryten
Apparently there's a major amount of work involved in making the date format configurable and since it only affects non US cachers it has virtually no priority. Quote Link to comment
