Going Somewhere Slowly: TB Race Update

With a little over 3 months left in the race, things are hotting up.

 

TB’s should be gunning for the final stretch, and those that haven’t crossed the major hurdles of “Forest Getaway” and especially “How Green is my valley?” are going to have a tough time finishing. If you can help TB’s, especially through the Eastern Cape… SHOUT.

 

At the moment there are 3 likely candidates for the winning slot, Scallywag Speedwobble, and Kayak Racer. These three only have one pitstop outstanding before the final leg. Kayak Racer’s challenge is somewhat greater than the other two, but with the recent flooding in the Eastern Cape, he is certainly suitably equipped for the wet terrain.

 

Hot on their heels are Dude and Totally Turtled. Dude has fallen into the deadly Stoddard’s Demise trap. With Bats’ career credentials, perhaps he’ll be able to rescue the surfer dude… time to fix the Lada Bats

 

Totally Turtled has the main hurdles out of her way.

 

These are closely followed by Rumpuss Compass, Chewy Teething Toy, Rabid Rooster, Timothy the mutant GM tortoise, and the Humble Office croc. They still have some leg work to do, but certainly the finish is in range for them still.

 

The balance of the TB’s have no need to give up yet, but the owners are going to have to do some seriaaaaaas networking to get these guys moving.

 

Not my job to do TB owners work, but here’s a heads up on a few TB’s:-

 

Cash Bug and Mini Cooper TB’s have been stuck in B&F Creepies and Crawlies since June. C’mon peeps in the cape… help this TB to move

 

Machu pichu has been stuck in Domkrag Dam since July….HELP!

 

Simply the Best has been hijacked by Hectic since July….know the little one is keeping you busy… but let the TB go…pleeeeez!

 

Daniella Dolphin seems to be stuck in KZN with her owner…can she swim South?

Glad to hear that your bug is moving again. Sorry that it took so long to get down to the EC, but we got it as close as we could (all be it the middle of no where ). Good luck for the rest of the race.
