+TLChris
I am looking for suggestions on putting maps on a Pocket PC. I am not too concerned about GPS tracking but would like to carry street and trail maps for reference while driving or hiking to the general location. Pocket streets would work but it is limited to major metro areas. Quote Link to comment
+Alan2
Mapopolis for street. It autonavigates with voice and visual prompts when you connect a GPS to it. In the woods, National Geographic Topo (State Series) with Pocket Topo option gives 24k scale USGS topo maps. If your GPS is hooked up, it will show your location in the woods in real-time. +Civisi
Pocket Streets will work. You just need the PC version. I've got Microsoft Streets and Trips, and I can highlight any area on a map and save it as a Pocket Streets map. There are size limitations, but I've got a map of the areas that I Geocache in. It covers about 2500 square miles or so. You can pick up MS S&T for about $20-25. Quote Link to comment
