+Alice Band
I have just returned from the excellent Shrops cache bash national geocaching event and have attended others and wondered if we could introduce a special way of saying thank you for all the hard work the organisers of the large camping events put into them. They give up their free time, work hard for long hours, often spend their own money and do all the legwork so that we can spend the weekend having a great time. *Perhaps a special minted coin that we could all collectively purchase, something rarer similar to the volunteer ones? *A special new Event-Only TB tag collection (with the words 'Event TB' on it) that the organisers could present to attendees to distribute? *Or whatever else you can all think of Let me know what you guys think out there. I just thought it was about time we said thank-you in the best caching way Link to comment

I just thought it was about time we said thank-you in the best caching way As an event organizer, the best way to thank me (aside from actually doing it in person/mail) and the best caching way is to hold an event yourself. That way I can attend and have fun. It is very much liking hiding caches -- what reward do people get from that? The short answer is nothing. The longer answer is much more complex. Link to comment
