Floridamutt
I have been looking for a neoprene cover to buy for my 76csx. There is an ebay seller that is selling a version with a metal carabiner as opposed to a plastic clip as the device to attach the unit to your backpack or whatever you may want. I am wondering if this metal carabiner might interfere with signal reception. Am I being overzealous? txs FM Quote Link to comment
yitbos
I probably purchased the same neoprene item for my Explorist 500 from that vendor. The person sent the item incredibly quickly. Faster than some Amazon items I had ordered a day or two before. I have not have any problems with the metal carribeaner. However, I've only used it once while walking around the neighborhood pushing the baby stroller. One thing I was going to look for was a way to have a swivel clasp on the case so that it can turn easily and allow me to move it into a position I can read easily. Haven't decided what I exactly want, but when I see it, I'll know it. John Quote Link to comment

John Thanks John, I had not thought about that part. It seems that the plastic clip version swivels. That may be a better option for me, unless the plastic is not that durable. +Klatch
I have a neoprene case with a metal carabiner for my 60Cx and have noticed no problems at all with it. And I have had the neoprene case with the swiveling plastic hook for about three years and the hook hasn't broken. Quote Link to comment
