+Arquette Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 I am looking for a cacher or two to do the Bob’s with next week. (July 31st - August 4th) You pick the day. I am in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. If your interested please let me know. Quote
+Lord Elwood Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 This is a very fun series to do!!! I joined up with a crazy group of Ohio cachers to do this one and I ended up getting 114 finds in one day!!! That is still me best. Quote
+geognerd Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Ummmm, what are the Bob's? Dep A series of 99 caches hidden in a northern Chicago suburb that can be done in a day. I hope to do the BoBs someday. Knowing my luck, they'll be archived before I get around to them. Quote
+Lord Elwood Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 BoB = Bottles of Beer, hence why there is 99 of them. It is a really fun series of caches in the North Suburbs of Chicago. Quote
Kittie_Cattah Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 I'm interested, but lacking in transportation. Is it bus accessible? -Kit Quote
+The Herd Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 We recently did the BoB series. Be prepared though, there are not actually 99 of them anymore. Several are archived, temporarily unavailable, or just plain missing. We had all planned our day around hitting an exact number, and had we known this...we would have done some other caches nearby when we had time. It was still a blast though, and it is only made better by the cachers you have with you! Quote
+Arquette Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 We have three going anyone else who wants to come should reply soon. Quote
+teamcarramrod1 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Can't make it to Chicago but I'll have to try to get up there sometime to do the Bob's, it sounds like fun. We are from Sullivan, IL. It's nice to see another local cacher on here! Quote
+marc_54140 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Accessible by bus? Very unlikely, as they are scattered over a large area (perhaps 5 x 15 miles) and in mainly residential neighborhoods. Quote
