+Eartha
I updated the How to Log a Travel Bug thread with notes on a lot of the questions that get asked in here. I'll take suggestions if I missed anything that might be important. Quote Link to comment
+Bear Paughs
4. Discovered itThis is used when you are logging, but not moving, a TB that you see at an event, or one that someone uses as a personal TB and is not passing it off to you. Maybe note that discovered it can be used anytime that you are not moving a TB, not necessarily one seen at an event. For example, TBs found in regular caches that you can't help on its mission or don't take for whatever other reason. Great job, Eartha! Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
Good point, added to paragraph. Quote Link to comment
+Rick618
"If you happen to find a geocoin in a cache. Are we suppose to trade something to retrieve the coin and get it along its way? I guess the same question goes for TB." There is a similar question over in the getting started forum, the above came from another forum but this is a question that pops up regularly and likely should be mentioned atleast that TB's and "most" geocoins share many of the same traits. +Munin
Perhaps mention the Unknown location in the "grab from somewhere else" section - that sometimes confuses people. Maybe something along the lines of: 2. Grab it from somewhere elseThis is used when you've found a TB in a cache but it's listed as being in another cache (or when the TB's location is "Unknown").
