Avatar Change

Trying to put an avatar on for the first time and I've done everything it says to do and nothing happens. At one point it asks to hit a "register" link that I don't find anywhere, even where its linked to on another thread on here.

 

Anyone help?

Nope. After updating the avatar information, click on the "Forums" button link on the left hand side of most any page of Geocaching.com. That takes you to the forums update page, where the information from the Geocaching.com server gets synchronized with the separate forums server.

Go back to your profile page that shows your avatar. Make sure your avatar is up in the right hand corner under "current (remove)" If it is, then click the link that says, "re-register the changes". On that page, click the link that says "Enter the Groundspeak Forums".

aha...that plus some did it. Didn't know you had to click on the pic to get it in the right hand corner. Thanx Ambrosia.

technically, the image I got that "beer" from is of a chocolate heineken bottle. So Signal's just in a sugar letdown.
