+Red Sox Rule!
All - I'm a bit confused about the differences (and purposes) for Cachemate and GSAK. Are they both really needd and what is the point of both? Sorry if this question has been answered but this whole paperless thing is new to me. -desi Quote Link to comment
+Maingray
GSAK for your PC. Cachemate for your Palm or PPC. No, both not needed... but it will make your life easier if you use GSAK to process, store and order your Pocket Queries on your PC and then also use GSAK to send the wanted waypoints to your GPSr and Cachemate on the PDA. GSAK has far more control over your list of caches than Cachemate does. There are tools with cachemate to allow you to send the Pocket Query GPX files to your PDA, but it's clunky. GSAK does it all "under the hood". Edited July 19, 2006 by Maingray Quote Link to comment
