+PhntmArcher
I have the Sandisk 512mb card in my 76Cx, but I am looking to order the 1gb. Has anyone used the new Sandisk Ultra II MicroSD cards in their X unit? Just don't want to get it and find out that it is not compatible. F-22
DO NOT buy the SanDisk UltraII microSD card for use in a GPSMAP 60CSx or 76CSx! These Garmin units will zap and kill the UltraII microSD card. The problem is not with the UltraII card and it is not with MapSource, it is with the 60CSx and 76CSx. The UltraII microSD cards work fine in other devices, such as cell phones. +PhntmArcher
See, this is why I ask you guys. I tried doing a search on Ulta II but the II was too short and returned an error. Thanks for the input. Probably saved me some aggravation. Thanks. Quote Link to comment

+Thrak
I bought the "regular" 1GB SanDisk microSD card on amazon.com brand new for................ $4.95. I took them up on their credit card offer and used it immediately (only took seconds to be approved) to buy a $44.95 card from them. They are having a promotion for the credit card and there will be a $40.00 account credit on the first credit card statement. Of course, once I receive that statement I'll shred the stupid credit card. Quote Link to comment
