Aushiker Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 G'day We currently have a category proposal up for peer review with the peer review closing on June 24, 2006: Category Status: Your group's category, Long Distance Hiking Trails has been sent to peer review. It will be reviewed by the Waymarking community until 6/24/2006. How long is it normally before the outcome is forthcoming? Is this part of the process manual or automated? Thanks Andrew Sorry for the delay, Aushiker. After Peer Review a category must go through one final check by Groundspeak to account for any Peers who may have been smoking something when they voted. Since your category completed voting on the weekend it wasn't reviewed until this morning. I'll try to be better about logging in on the weekends in the future. -Nate Link to comment

After Peer Review a category must go through one final check by Groundspeak to account for any Peers who may have been smoking something when they voted. Wasn't sure if it was manual review or an automated process. Given it is a manual review, a wait on the weekend is quite resonable, in fact a wait is quite resonable anyway.
