+SwampMonster Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I have a pprox 700 cords in a spreadsheet, and was wondering if there is a easy way to upload them to a GPS? or is there a program that can help me out, I really hate to cut and paste all of them Quote
+geognerd Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 You can try saving the spreadsheet as a .csv (comma separated values) file or tab-delimted file and using GPSBabel to convert the file to a format your GPSr understands. Quote
+SwampMonster Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 What format are the coords in, lat/long, utm? Lat Long Quote
+kgag Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 if you have a garmin product you can save this out as csv and upload it to your gps as custom poi. using poi loader. Quote
-Oz- Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 If you send me the file I'll write a quick PHP script to convert it to a GPX file which mapsource and many other programs can open. email: gps[at]oztheory.com (replace [at] with @). Quote
