+scavok
I have a cache in an awesome location that I would like people to see, the cache has been around for a while but since it is a puzzle cache it doesn't get very many visitors. Would it be OK for me to change it to a normal cache even though some people have actually found it? Does this happen a lot or..? Quote Link to comment
+JohnnyVegas
Just archive it and replace it with a new cache. That way those that have found the old cache will have a reason to visit the area again. Besides if you change the cache it may get archived anyway. Quote Link to comment
+BBWolf+3Pigs
I thought it took a reviewer to change the cache type. I had a puzzle that was somehow listed as a Regular when in fact it was a puzzle. It went quite some time before I realized the error, and the local reviewer had to correct it. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I agree with JV, archive it and create a new cache. If you are changing it from a puzzle to a traditional you are changing the essential nature of the cache. Also, if you change the type, it will alter the stats of everyone who found it. People will suddenly find themselves with one fewer puzzle find and one more traditional. Some may not apreciate that. Quote Link to comment
