Us 231, North To Sylacauga Al

I'm driving from I-10 north on US 231 to Sylacauga AL. Are there any interesting caches I could get without too much delay or inconvenience? (No long slogs, please.) I'm thinking of historical sites, perhaps.

I have several along US 231 from Montgomery to Wetumpka: Alabama Desoto Trail (GCHANP); Crommelin Memorial (GCHAXL); Gold Star Park (3-stage multi) (GCH9X9); Cookie Too's Jasmine Forest (three blocks off 231) (GCJ6X6); Non-Typical Wally (GCRQ1N) and Magnolia Bluff (GCW5HA). And there might be another one in a couple of weeks.

If you're not going up 231 (aka AL Hwy 21) for a specific reason and are willing to divert off onto AL Hwy 9 in Wetumka (much less hilly and a lot easier drive - in my opinion), that will take you to US 280 (which passes through Sylacauga). There are several caches that are within sight of the road along that route (or immediatly adjacent to it)

GCPDK7 (Hog Walla Holler)

GCK204 (Which Way Is Up)

Both on 280 after turning off Hwy 9 in Kellyton toward Sylacauga/Birmingham

GCNAMN (I Can't Hear You)

GCQA91 (A Noble Endevor)

GCJJM5 (Crows Nest Cache I)

These are a few on or near Hwy 21 in Sylacauga.
