+spudgun and Pam
I am preparing a caching trip around UK and Europe and am using Pocket queries to select caches in the areas we will be visiting. How can I edit out the caches I wont bother with such as different languages or out of my travel range. In most cases I just want a short description and the hint. I always thought when I became a premium member I could get the queries in a DOC or TXT format. Is this possible? Thanks, Paul and Pam Quote Link to comment
+Lasagna
Pull the PQ's into GSAK and then export them from GSAK in a text format. You can import this CSV file into a spreadsheet program and whack out whatever data you don't want. Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
GSAK also has lots of great filters. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
I second that GSAK has some really nice filters. Certainly, they will be very useful to make sure that you only get caches in the areas that you want. Using GSAK, you can also quickly pull up off-line or on-line cache pages. This will help you quickly delete the ones that are in other languages. You might also consider picking up a cheap pda to store the cache pages on, rather than printing them to paper. Used ones can be picked up for less than $20 after shipping on ebay. At that price, if you hate it or break it, its not a big deal. Try out Spinner and Plucker to get the pages to your new (to you) pda. CYBret has a terrific tutorial here. By the way, they are free. I would also suggest that you check out Cache Log Book. Its a nice little freeware database for the Palm that allows you to keep a record of all your cache hunts. It makes logging on-line a snap. Quote Link to comment
