+Team_Tramper
Well I have been inactive for quite some time now (Oct 2005) but have been motivated by what I have seen taking place here. So to those responsible, thanks for the boot up the arse, so to speak Reading all the goings on, re milestones, and being the cricket fan that I am, I wondered why we shouldnt start a similar ranking system to the cricket jockeys. They have, for example, a log for the batsmen (cache finders) and for the all-rounders (finders and placers). The bowlers being the people with the most placed caches. So what we might end up with is a four lists Cache finders Cache placers Cache All-Rounders (200/20) Cache All-Rounders (500/50) Where cache finders are the people with the most finds, Cache placers are people who have placed the most caches, All-Rounders would be both find and placement with the finds being the first number and placement being the second number. The numbers are just examples and user input would be required. Not sure if one would use a website for this purpose or perhaps just keep it here on the forum. Could require members to claim their titles thereby limiting work. I am certain that this would also motivate cachers to get out there and do their bit... Just my ten cents.............any suggestions would be great. Tramper Link to comment
