stevethecache
I am looking at how much software would be to purchase for my future unit-the explorist 210. which sets of maps would be better for a handheld unit- the Directroute North America or the TOPO USA set? I am a huge newb when it comes to this so i need some help. I want to be able to fit streets from a region ( a city) onto the explorist which has 22mb of memory. Quote Link to comment
+JohnnyVegas
IF you want turn by turn autorouting then buy Direct route. If you do not need turh by turn auto routing and want a map that will display topography them buy Topo 3D Topo 3Ddoes include street names. If there are lots of caches in your area then direct route may not be needed, when I cache in the area that I lived in for 50 years direct route is of no need to me because I already know my way around.
