+rojeel Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 I have a TB, Papa Bear James V, that went missing last year in Indiana when a cache was muggled. Today, I found an identical bear in a cache. I want to use the copy tag to send him back out. How do I do this without messing up mileage? (not a big deal, just wondering) Do I have to rename the TB? Do I just attach the copy tag, and claim it from an unknown location and drop it in a cache? Thanks Quote Link to comment

If (and that's a big if) you do not want to mess up miles you would have to place the re-issue bug in the same cache, provided it's been replace. Unless you are on some sort of mileage race, don't bother. 2. You can rename a bug at any time, doesn't matter if it's a re-issue or the original. Give it a new goal if you want. (Just don't delete old logs) 3. Correct. (There are tag engraving vending machines at your local stuffmart or pet store if you need it. Just be real clear on the goal tag attached to the bug that it is a gc.com TB) Quote Link to comment
