The GPSMAP 60 and the GPSMAP 76CS use identical technology. The only difference is 76CS offers more included features. The GPSMAP 76CS has everything the Map 60 has with the addition of more memory(115mb.), electronic compass, more waypoint and route capacity,(1000/50), and geocaching capabilities. 10,000 point automatic track log; 20 saved tracks. Hey, it's only a difference in price of $100.00 or so, but, if price is your concern, then the GPSMAP 60 is probably for you. Have a nice day, and uh, relax. No need to flame, I can read.
