+9Key
Hello! The Texas Geocaching Association is having a contest to find a design for our Spring Edition Geocoin. Our seasonal coins feature a Texas State Park on one side of the coin and our logo on the other. Deadline: Please post your designs here or email them to me before Friday, April 21. You can also fax them if you're a "paper only" designer (email me for the number). We'd like to have these available at GeoWoodstock... Instructions: The TXGA logo is one side of the coin, so design the other side around a Texas state park of your choice. List of Texas State Parks: { link } We've already used Lost Maples and Palo Duro, but any other park is in play. GeoWoodstock is at Cedar Hill, so keep that in mind. Prize: $50 and 5 coins. The winning design will be chosen by a poll in the Texas geocoin forum. This should be fun! ----------------------------------------------------------- Link to the topic in the TXGA forum: { link } ----------------------------------------------------------- Quote Link to comment

Which is becoming a long time ago.... What does that coin look like anyhow? Quote Link to comment

+Nocturnal Navigators
I might take a look into this. Do I need to make room for tracking #'s on the park side? Quote Link to comment
+9Key
I might take a look into this. Do I need to make room for tracking #'s on the park side? Nope, just 4 digit sequential numbering. No tracking on the seasonal coins. Quote Link to comment
+Nocturnal Navigators
Ok. I've been looking into a park to get some ideas. If I can come up with something I'll be sure to let you know. Quote Link to comment
+Dumb_Luck
Is it just to design the front of the coin or both sides? Quote Link to comment
