+geofindr
I am pretty new to geocaching. Our first cache, Peavy Arboretum, shows that "lost lock key chain" TB was logged into our cache. Later someone logged that there were not TB to pick up. I checked the cache today, and the "lost lock key chain" TB is not there. I have started contacting folks who visited the cache between the time it was dropped and reported missing. If none of them say they picked it up, what do I do, as a cache owner, to remove that TB from being listed in my cache? I really hate to see a TB go missing! Thanks, geofindr. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
It hasn't been more than a week since it was dropped off. I'd give it more time. Sometimes cachers are a little slow in logging. After three to four weeks you will probably want to move the listing to an unknown location. Edited March 24, 2006 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
Not So Lost Puppies
As the cache owner, any bugs in your cache's inventory can be marked as missing. After you determine it is missing and no one you contacted has it... go to the TB page, and there should be a 'mark as missing' option in the area that you would click to log it. (I believe that only the TB owner, or the owner of the cache the TB is currently listed at can do it) Quote Link to comment
