CenTexDodger
I know the specs listed on Garmin are identical, there has to be some subtle differences! Cary in S.D. Well, the noted difference between the the 60C(S) and the 76C(S) are as follows: 1. Different basemap 2. Larger storage for maps (56 vs 115) 3. Button placement 4. Size/shape 5. the 76 floats. So, for the X series AFAIK, 1. the basemaps are the same 2. they are both expandable, but the 76 comes with a larger card. 3. Button placement 4. Size/shape 5. the 76 floats. Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
The look/design (as you mentioned) The 76 gets a 128MB card - the 60 gets a 64MB card The 76 definitely floats - the 60CS floats with lithium batteries and can maintain neutral bouyancy with regular batteries installed. CLICK HERE to read thread on this subject. This test was done on a 60CS - results may differ for other models. Quote Link to comment
