KZ45 Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 I have a Explorist 500 that I use to navigate and play with. My question is what settings or datum do I have to use when out of country. Will be traveling to Venice, Greece, Turkey, France and dock in Spain. To be able to accurately set point for coordinates, what Map Datums should I use. Thanks Irv Quote Link to comment

Unless you are using paper maps that show some other datum, and you are trying to match your coordinates with those shown on that map, just leave it set to WGS84 and forget it.
