cachesail
I am planning to visit Florida this year and hope to geocache while there. Would like to place a travel bug with a goal to return home to my location. Is it permitted to place a bug into another persons cache? Thanks cachesail Quote Link to comment
+koikeeper
Absolutely! If you find the cache it is a logged find and TB dropped off. If you are returning to a cache, it is a note and TB dropped off. ImpalaBob Quote Link to comment
Flying Spaghetti Monster
That's the whole idea - you drop a TB into other caches and watch it move from cache to cache. If you mean is it OK to START a TB in someone's else cache, again the answer is 'yes'. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
I have a "Homeward Bound" Tb that I left in Florida back in November. It's been touring the South on the way back which I think is pretty cool. Yes, you can drop it in somone else's cache but I would first have it actually visit a cache near your home, drop and retrieve it from the cache and then take it to Florida. It made the trip, it might as well get the mileage, (or the meters). Edited February 27, 2006 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
