+ATMA
Our daughter has lost her Legend C interface cable and needs another one. Since we have the standard blue Legend I cant tell her what she needs. Thinking there is probably something on eBay that is less expensive than Garmin direct, we figure to go the eBay route first. Can someone tell me what type of USB cable is used on the Legend C? Thanks and Happy New Year. Quote Link to comment
+Sputnik 57
It uses a standard USB connector with a mini connection on one end. It is the same cable used by most digital cameras. It is not the USB cable that has a square connector on the peripheral end. You can get one at Besy Buy or Radio Shack, or any on-line cable retailer. Quote Link to comment
+WeR3
I just got a legend C and here are the connectors that you need. See page Computer Connectors Both ends are male End 1 USB Type A connector End 2 Mini USB 2.0 Plug Note that there is a Mini USB Plug (not 2.0) so don't confuse the above plug with the wrong one below. My cable also have that round bulge in it. This is a ferret coil that is now common on many ISB cables to reduce noise. I don't know how the connection will perform without this. Hope this helps... +ATMA
Thanks a lot for your help. Fast answers are great. At least it isnt something unique to the unit like our eTrex units and can be found locally. Both answers are fantastic and the photos help even more. Now off to the stores to find one. +roadrage64
I use the same cable on my Etrex Vista C. I don't have the ferrite coil on mine and haven't had any problems with it. Quote Link to comment
