+CJDD Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I have a Oregon geocoin that I found in a cache awhile ago and I have activated it on Oregon geocaching .com. But can I track it on Geocaching .com? Quote
+pdxmarathonman Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Not trackable on geocaching.com. Quote
+CJDD Posted December 31, 2005 Author Posted December 31, 2005 Why does it have Geocaching.com stamped on it? Quote
+pdxmarathonman Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Why does it have Geocaching.com stamped on it? that was a standard template for the reverse side of the coin that Groundspeak made available through the coin manufacturer in order to save some money on die fees. The Oregon coin pre-dates the trackable geocoin feature (M10Bike excepted) by a couple of years. It was/is the first state Geocoin! Quote
+CJDD Posted December 31, 2005 Author Posted December 31, 2005 I see, So I guess I will just hang on to this one for a collectable. Quote

As long as there is no note attached indicating that it should be moved, then that is a valid option. Just curious - and don't feel like you have to post this, what is the number? Quote
+Palm Grunt Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Here is the tracking website for the Oregon geocoins. Hope this helps out. Quote
