I have a HP iPAQ BT-308 I use with delorme handheld 2006 on my HP Ipaq 1945. It works great. The day I got it I turned it on and it synced right up. I don't think anything I ever bought worked so quick.

Hi, I can confirm that I know what the problem is, and am working on a fix. If you're impatient, and technically litterate, you can fix the problem yourself (you need to open the map files with GPS Map Edit, and delete the Map Coverage area entity type, and recompile it, afterwards you'll need to recompile the 'pv' file). I'd do it myself, but the fix needs to be applied to quite a few squares, and I'd like to get the problem actually fixed rather than applying a 'patchwork' fix to it. Dale I just downloaded the maps last nite and If it helps, I noticed, On the 60CSx, that you can see the roads in King county until you move the cursor across the county line, then it all goes away. I also noticed that in MapSource you can highlight the county as a square (70 mi) but not as an actual county (50 mi). entity type? 'pv' file?... I've got some catching up to do.

Yes, that is possible too. Go in the "Setup Map" Menu and change the "Map Points" setting from "Auto" to what ever zoom level you want them all to appear at. Just keep in mind that what ever zoom level you specify all POIs (custom POIs and CN, or CS, or Metroguide, etcs.) will appear at that zoom level, so your screen can get extremely cluttered in a metropolitan area. What about getting the POIs on the map all at once.

I see, Does that mean as you move around your 50 POI change? So if you had 500 in there, you would be able to see them all as you drove around.

I just tried another file and now there is 2 data bases to choose from but only 50 waypoints per base. ???

Thanks guys, Im getting there, But now it seams it will only load the first 50 way points in the POI, When my file has 900. Do I need to set a parameter?

I just got my 60 csx yesterday. There are a few things im tring to figure out. How/can you save waypoints to the SD card and pull waypoints out of it, like the Magellan Platinum. I use to save a center location in GSAK with a radius (300 or so waypoints), then save it to a SD. Then I could just load those waypoints up in the Platinum. I had 20 center points (Total approx 6000 waypoints) Also How can I save the waypoints to POI. I dont see any POI on the menu. Any help at all, or maybe a nudge to a place where I can research, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I would buy some land, near an intersection and make it look like a construction sight with a gravel pile and some lumber. I would have a shipping container set there with a lock on it that you would have to solve a puzzle to figure out that the container was the actual cache and then figure out how to open it. It would have electricity so when you opened the door the lights would go on and there would be a pop and snack machine in there. Also a table to relax. I would have the whole sight on close circuit camera. Then I would put a new caching rig ( Jeep! ) in it for the FTF prize. I would probally keep it stocked with cool swag. It's not like I have ever thought about this. Actually I wasn't waiting to win the lottery to do this. Well maybe if I added the FTF prize. CJDD

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but, I have recently installed Delorme Atlas 2005 on my new laptop, and when I open it up, the real time Longtitude and Latitude that are on the right side of the screen, are off the screen. Almost like the font is too big. I can not read the MIN & SEC. I have tried reinstalling it and that didn't work. I have put a post on the Delorme forum, but there isn't much going on over there. Any help would be great.

I can't seam to get my Platinum to be seen with Delorme streets and atlas 2005. It use to work but know it doesn't. Does any one know how to get it to reconize?
