PappaBear & Family
Hey, I have read the manual 3 times, and for the life of me can't find how to remove the detailed maps from the memory. Any Sugestions? Without doing a complete, clear all memory. Quote Link to comment
+Lil Devil
When you upload new maps to memory it first erases all the previous maps. So you could just upload a small insignificant map for some far away area, and all the maps for your local area will be erased.. but, why would you want to? Quote Link to comment
PappaBear & Family
Didn't know that bit of info, thanks. Well why i would want to, i have three small DRoute maps loaded now, i wanted to remove one that i dont use, and replace it with a Topo. I only have 22mb's of memory and i am 75% full, not enough left for the Topo. I think I have it just dont select the map i dont want in conversion manager? PappaBear & Family
Nope not it, i was able to load maps one at a time, with out it clearing the others. So, is there a way to remove maps one at a time, out of the memory? Quote Link to comment
+embra
I don't think there's a way to do it through the explorist menu, but if I connect my 500 to the computer it sets itself up as an external hard drive. It then is very easy to use Windows Explorer to navigate to and delete any desired files, just as if they were in the computer. Quote Link to comment
