Rino 120 Mapping Question

I got a RINO 120 from someone on here a few months ago and they preloaded some maps of my local area on it for me. I bought a 2nd unit which had no maps of my area, so I bought the MapSource cd from Garmin, but it doesn't give much detail at all. The 1st one has every street in my town included on it, heck, it ever shows driveways to people's homes out in the country. With this Worldmap program, It only shows the two major highways that run through my town.

 

Anyone have a clue what program I can use to get better detailed maps?

You probably want the metroguide (NA?) CD. It has street level data, so it should have all of the highways, and most of the residental streets and smaller roads.

 

The garmin website has a map viewer so that you can look at current verisons of maps and see what they're like for you area.

Map source is a waypoint/map manager only. It contains only the base map (I think). If you want detailed maps you have to buy the actual maps which come in different variety's for example City Navigator, City Select, 24K Topo, Topo USA, etc... . Some of the maps have to unlocked for individual GPSr units and some don't.
