+jeffgorc
Is it just me or is there no way to get the GPSr into the mount when the cigarette lighter adapter is plugged into the back. This is for the Garmin 60C or 60CS. The plug and wire are directed right to the back of the mount so they get in the way and the GPSr can not be firmly seated into the mount. Does anyone have a solution for this. It seems like a major design flaw because if you're using the mount, you're likely to have the adapter plugged in to save batteries. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
What mount are you using? Quote Link to comment
Garmin8888
It is best to mount the Garmin60c first, then undo the rubber on the right and put the plug in and the other end into the cigar lighter.......with practice it gets easier! Quote Link to comment
+jeffgorc
Thanks Garmin888. Mounting it first and then plugging the adapter in the back works. That allows the wire to run outside the mount instead of between the mount and the GPSr. I just got the kit so I hadn't had much time to mess around with it. I'll just have to remember to mount it before plugging it in. Seems pretty obvious now looking at it. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
