g0t0pless
So I just picked up this TB from a cache. The icon in the list showed it as a WJ TB. I get there, and it is not a Rubicon as stated on the Jeep website that it would be. So, how do I know if it is a WJ TB or not? Link to comment

g0t0pless
It's a 56 Ford, putty brown, and says "Maquina De Amor" on it. Link to comment
Ambrosia
Did you put the tb's number into the site and see what came up? Link to comment
the hermit crabs
The shape of the tag isn't the same as those of the Jeep tags. The Jeep ones are more sqaured-off at the ends; that one has the rounded ends of a regular TB tag. Link to comment
Eartha
Perhaps you missed the Jeep and got the TB someone traded for it? Any logs in the book regarding it? Link to comment
the hermit crabs
Maybe it was a different cache that had the WJTB icon? The TB in that picture (Travel Bug Dog Tag) was picked up from Traco Tiger; if you look at that cache's TB history, there has never been a WJTB logged into it, so it would never have had the WJTB icon. +g0t0pless
I am 100% sure it had the icon. I know it did because I was excited to find my first WJTB. Now that I've logged the bug, the icon is gone. When I go the Jeep site to log it, it takes me back to this site. Link to comment
Rick618
Does the tag# start with a JP or a TB? If it starts with a tb than it is not a wj tb. Some folks have been logging the jeeps for miles in caches and you have caught the page as that one was cycling through. Better luck. Link to comment
cache_test_dummies
Some folks have been logging the jeeps for miles in caches and you have caught the page as that one was cycling through. If that was the case, the WJTB would show up as having been logged in and out of the cache. But as the hermit crabs pointed out, the history for that cache doesn't show that a WJTB was ever logged into that cache. edit: extra word Edited October 2, 2005 by cache_test_dummies Link to comment
g0t0pless
OMG, guys. Someone please lock my stoopid post. I am very sorry. As someone pointed out, I was wrong about which cache contained the WJTB. The WJTB was actually located in a cache that we didn't have time to visit that day. Darn it, I knew we shoulda tried for it anyways, even though it was getting dark. For reference, the cache that actually contained the WJTB is GCHACM. Link to comment
